These micro-scale organic chemistry sets are designed for use with milligram quantities of chemicals and vastly reduced volumes of organics solvents.

Typical reaction vessel sizes are between 0.1ml and 5.0ml .

The use of smaller volumes provides significant benefits :

* Improved Safety    Smaller volumes reduce risk of TLV limits being exceeded

* Increase Speed      Reactions at micro level require less time to reach completion

The glassware is designed in accordance with guidelines set y Drs.Mayo, Pike and Butcher in their definitive text on the subject “Micro- scale Organic Laboratory”.

Many components are fitted together via special ground glass joints with integral screwthread fittings . These assist easy assembly and avoid the need for lubricating greases.

Three kits are available, all supplied in a convenient plastic case.
