Graham Coil Condenser
Material : Schott Duran Germany and Iwaki Pyrex Japan
Borosilicate glass 3.3
The coil design encourages a high degree of coolant turbulence and permits the use of thin wall tubing without sacrificing strength. The surface area is considerably greater than the corresponding Liebig condenser of similar dimension. The coil condenser is extremely efficient in the reflux mode where counter -current cooling is possible. It also provides a wide vapour passage and because the outer surface is air cooled,is free from external condensation of water vapour. Each condenser is supplied with detachable screwthread connectors which permit easy attachment of flexible tubing.
