A Sluice type reflux ratio head combined with a jacketed coil condenser having an approximate surface area.A run-off lip at the bottom of the condenser directs condensed vapour to a weir from which it is either returned to the column or collected.The proportion of liquid returning to the column is controlled by adjusment of a GP Rotaflo stopcock.The head is fitted with a pressure equalising tube with vacuum connection,making it an ideal unit for reduced pressure distillations.A size 13 screw-cap is also provided to facilitate the insertion of a thermometer (not included).Supplied with plastic screwthread connectors for the easy attachment of flexible tubing.
