Safety is a top priority in Duraglas, as the glass we use Iwaki Japan are Low Expansion Borosilicate Glass, which is free of heavy metals and minerals such as magnesia lime and zinc. As a result, corrosion caused by acids and distilled water is kept to a minimum.

The advanced technology of our products gives us an edge over other commercial glass. Our products have a one-third coefficient expansion, giving it high resistance to thermal shock.

Technical Information

Under normal temperature, glass has finite viscosity. When exposed to extreme temperatures (strain point), glass can be tempered to transform them into desired shapes and sizes.
